Competitive Map Pool

Control

  • Ilios
  • Lijiang Tower
  • Nepal
  • Oasis
  • Antarctic Peninsula

Push

  • Esperanca
  • New Queen Street
  • Colosseo

Hybrid

  • Blizzard World
  • Eichenwalde
  • King's Row
  • Midtown

Escort

  • Circuit Royal
  • Dorado
  • Junkertown
  • Rialto

Map Selection Process

1
Map 1 (Control): Each team bans 1 Control map. Remaining map is played as Game 1.
2
Map 2: The team that lost Map 1 picks from Push, Hybrid, or Escort. The winning team picks the specific map from within the chosen type.
3
Map 3 (if needed): Both teams each ban 1 map from the remaining unused maps. The final map is randomly determined from what remains.

Roster & Substitutions

  • ▶ Each school fields 5 starters and up to 2 substitutes. Substitutions may only be made between maps.
  • ▶ Role lock is enforced: each team must have exactly 1 Tank, 2 DPS, and 2 Support. Players may swap roles between maps.
  • ▶ No duplicate heroes on the same team at any time.
  • ▶ Cross-platform play is permitted (PC, PlayStation, Xbox). All platforms must support the same lobby.

Player Conduct & Integrity

  • ▶ All players must have verified Blizzard accounts with active Overwatch licenses linked to their .edu email or NCEO account.
  • ▶ Match results must be submitted with a post-match screenshot within 30 minutes. Both coaches/captains must confirm results.
  • ▶ Teams have a 10-minute grace period from scheduled start time. Failure to field a full team results in a forfeit.
  • ▶ If a player disconnects before the first elimination of a Control round, the round is replayed. Otherwise the round continues.
  • ▶ Toxic in-game communication is subject to review. Repeated violations result in suspension.
