FAQ

Is registration free?
Yes — registration for schools and players is completely free. There are no entry fees, no subscription costs, and no paywalls within the portal.
Do we need an official esports program to join?
No. A student club, an informal group, or even just a few players from the same campus can register. You don't need official school recognition, though it certainly helps with recruitment.
What if my school already has a team in another league?
No problem. NCEO participation doesn't conflict with other leagues or varsity programs. Players and schools can compete anywhere as long as they remain in good academic standing.
How are conferences determined?
We assign conferences based on your school's geographic location. There are 8 regional conferences: East, West, North, South, Midwest, Pacific, Atlantic, and Central.
When does the season start?
Season 1 registration is opening now. Submit your school registration form above and we'll reach out with scheduling details as launch approaches.
Can players compete in multiple titles?
Yes. A player can register for multiple titles. Each title runs independently, so schedules are coordinated to avoid conflicts within the same school.
What do players need to participate?
A valid .edu email address, a copy of the game they're competing in, and a stable internet connection. All matches are played online.
